From Philadelphia, PA, The Right Fiction is an electrifying ensemble that melds vintage rock and roll with the classic R&B music of their hometown. The band features the soulful vocals of lead vocalist Aaron Parnell Brown over the hard charging rhythm section of Fred Berman (drums) and Brendan McGeehan (bass). While the band is new, each member is an accomplished musician in their own right bringing years of experience to the music.

Fred Berman (Drums): has played all around the world with Amos Lee. Appearing on many tours and albums including his 2015 album “Live at Red Rocks” with The Colorado Symphony.” He has also performed with Tommy Conwell, G. Love, Schoolly D, and Dave Cope & The Sass.

Brendan McGeehan (Bass): is a highly sought-after bass player with extensive experience performing in bands such as Weekender and York Street Hustle. His is also the lead engineer and producer of Rob Hyman’s (The Hooters) Elm Street Studios and is currently working with Cyndi Lauper on her next Broadway musical.

Aaron Parnell Brown (Vocals/Guitar): is a songwriter releasing 2 solo albums. He’s toured all across the country appearing on stages such as the iconic NPR roots music show Mountain Stage (Charleston, WV). He’s also won an Independent Music Award and Soul/R&B Artist Of The Year (Tri State Indie Music Awards) for the Philadelphia Metro-Region.

The band is gearing up for a busy 2023 with a full album release, touring, and many more episodes of their popular podcast “The List: A Right Fiction Podcast.”
